Free Hazard Perception Test
Many Theory Test products and kits only contain a handful of hazard perception test clips to practice on which may help to explain why most people who fail a Theory Test do so on the Hazard Perception section. The DSA only provide 10 official practice clips. The free advice on this website together with the free test below should go some way to help ensure you are not one of the many thousands of people who fail the Theory Test each year due to the Hazard Perception part of the test.
If you feel you need more practice and want to get started straight away you can buy our new download product called Hazard Perception Test Express for only £3.99. If you also need a product for the theory part look at Theory Test Express also at £3.99.
To help you better understand how the Hazard Perception Test works we have developed a web based Hazard Perception Test using Flash. This is similar to the Hazard Perception Mock Test feature in our software products for the Theory and Hazard Perception Tests. However, the quality of the web video is poorer and more highly compressed to allow for a quicker download time and several of the features of the software has been excluded, including the accuracy of the anti-cheat which on this web based mock test only looks for an excessive amount of clicks or a short burst of rapid clicks.

About the Hazard Perception Test above
The video clips that appear on the test have been taken from the LDC Theory and Hazard Perception software products and give you an example of the type of hazards that can appear in the real test. Some of the clips have been designed to check that you remember to click each time the hazard develops as more clues appear. On these clips it is possible to click too early and miss the score window. Do not worry about clicking too early simple make sure you click each time a change occurs as the clues mount up.
